INDIANAPOLIS – With wildfire smoke spreading across the U.S. and Canada, Carrier is stepping in to help families and businesses keep their indoor air clean. The HVAC leader is encouraging property owners to upgrade their systems with better filters, seal gaps, and add portable HEPA purifiers to reduce health risks.
“Wildfire smoke can impact indoor spaces just as much as outdoors,” said Nick Arch, Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions. “Our technologies are built to help people breathe safer air when they need it most.”
In a show of support for affected communities, Carrier has donated $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to schools and frontline workers in Los Angeles.
