New Netflix Scooby-Doo! Series Confirmed with Young Cast

Netflix has officially announced its much-anticipated Scooby-Doo! live-action series, which will feature a young cast for the beloved roles of Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, and Velma. The show is being produced by Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions, and Midnight Radio, with Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg as showrunners.
The storyline is set during the gang’s final summer at camp, where they meet a lonely Great Dane puppy. The dog becomes the sole witness to a mysterious supernatural murder, pulling the group into a chilling investigation that threatens to expose their deepest secrets. The series is described as a modern reimagining that blends mystery, friendship, and supernatural suspense.
The show is planned for eight one-hour episodes. While the working title is Scooby-Doo! The Live-Action Series, a final title may be different. Filming, originally rumored to start in fall 2025, has been delayed to an early 2026 start date.
